Dive into the world of Tarot with our engaging workshop! Explore the Minor Arcana through practical tools, uncover the history and symbolism of the Rider-Waite-Smith deck with a focus on the Major Arcana, and discover your inner narrative through personalized readings and guided exercises. Connect with others, share insights, and leave with a deeper understanding of yourself and the power of Tarot. Perfect for beginners and enthusiasts alike! ✨ Station A: 3 Tools to Easily Interpret the Minor Arcana - Learn the fast, simple way to interpret any card in the Minor Arcana cards of any Tarot Deck.. You will be able to read a simple three card spread by the end of the session.. Station B: Tarot Tales: An Introductory Experience - A brief overview of the origins/evolution/structure of tarot, focusing on the symbolism and colors in the Rider-Waite-Smith Tarot deck. Particular focus will be on the Major Arcana. We will pull a Major Arcana card and reflect on how it relates to a phase in your life. Station C: Reading the Story Within- Complete a short Tarot reading for yourself using a guided graphic organizer. Participants will interpret their own spread using the symbols and storytelling techniques they've learned, reflect on an intention or mantra, and optionally share insights with a partner or the group. If there is time, Tarot Reading Pairs- Participants will pair up and do a quick 3 card reading for their partner. Closing Circle: Participants will share their mantra or affirmation, one symbol or story that stood out, and a takeaway from doing their own reading. We ask that participants please bring a Tarot deck (if you have one, although it is not required!), notebook, and a pen. No prior tarot experience is needed—just an open mind and a willingness to explore!
