Every other month, we provide a space for local vendors to showcase their creations and an opportunity for the community to connect and create together with our creation station. This event will be hosted after our classes at the studio!

Hello. My name is Kevin. I am NekroGlass.
I've blown glass on both coasts, but returned home to Massachusetts about 3 years ago. I work out of a studio in Northampton with 2 other very talented artists (K.B.Toiz and Chaddams Glass). For me, looking into the flame is a meditation. I enter into a space where everything melts away as I melt away at the glass. Chasing an unreachable goal of "The Perfect Shape" is impossible and keeps me humble. Keeps me chasing and gives me the space to unpack my mind. Every pipe I make is an attempt to beat myself. To locate the exact moment when my intention and the universal pull or creation meet, and to remain there as long as possible. Working with glass has taught me patience and understanding. Has calmed me and helped me to let go of anger. When glass breaks, and it does break, you have 2 options. Get mad, or take a breath, remember that everything is temporary, and begin again noting the mistake of the previous attempt and not making them again. I do consider myself a "Pipe Maker" first and foremost. To design tools built for relaxation and self reflection brings me endless joy and inspiration. I look forward to this life-long journey of artistic expression and appreciation all who help along this path by supporting and sharing my art.
